If Al Qaeda attacked Mississippi, would we really have to retaliate?

I have a small number of friends living in or originally from the Magnolia State, but I have to ask, with shit like this going on…could we really call it an unprovoked terrorist attack?

I see an Osama-planned assault on the Mississippi State House akin to Chris Rock's famous bit about OJ Simpson: I wouldn't agree with it, but I'd understand.
